School Uniform

Uniform and Clothing

Children are expected to wear the school sweatshirt as the school operates a uniform policy formally adopted by the Governors in 2004. The school colours of black or grey for skirts or trousers were chosen and white for blouses/shirts/ polo shirts and black shoes. We encourage children to take a pride in their school and the way they dress would reflect this in an appropriate way. Jewellery is not considered appropriate school wear. Parents who consent to their children having ears pierced should only have this done at the start of the school summer holidays. This is to ensure that removal of any ear studs can still take place for PE and games sessions.

Much of the clothing worn by the children is very similar in appearance, and in order to avoid loss, we ask that you clearly mark these, together with footwear, with your child’s name.

If you are in receipt of certain state benefits or tax credits you may be eligible for School Uniform Vouchers – click here to apply online or find out more.
