Home School Association (HSA)

The aim of Coniston Primary School Home School Association (HSA) is to encourage communication between all parties involved with the school, and to provide positive support to the school in general. Along with the Head Teacher, the committee members are made up of parent representatives with a keen interest in the school. However all parents and teachers are invited to attend. More recently community governors and parent governors have also been invited in an attempt to encourage the HSA meetings to become a central channel through which all parties involved in the school can closely communicate.

There are four main objectives of the HSA meetings:

a) to identify projects requiring funding;

b) to discuss fund raising ideas;

c) to be proactive in identifying general areas in which all parties could support positive change;

d) to identify and plan social occasions and encourage enthusiasm in the school.
